10 week Doctor Appnt

Well Gabe went back to the doctor on Tuesday for his 2 month check up.
He weighed in at ...12 lbs 14 oz!!! I thought he had been feeling heavy but I had no idea just how heavy! So we received another "rocket fuel" comment from the doctor who said he is probably just meant to be a big boy. Most babies gain 3 lbs between the 2 week and the 2 month and Gabe gained 4.5 lbs. :) Oops! Now Mike is thinking linebacker instead of quarterback. But we'll just wait and see about that.
He was 23 1/8 in long, although I still claim he is longer. When I measure at home he seems closer to 24 in. But Mike says that is just wishful thinking on my part :)
He has a big old head at 15 7/8 in. All in all very healthy. However, he did have to get his shots which he HATED. And it broke my heart to hear him screaming. I made Mike hold him down as I couldn't do it.
He has been fussy every since so must be fighting off the affects of the shots as he hasn't really slept the last 2 nights! ugh! I thought we were past all this up every 2 hour bit.
And just think, I have teething to look forward to!
