Getting ready for football season
in his outfit from Tom Hooker

Looking cute in denim with his matching teddy
from Great-Grandma McMicken

Definitely filling out the crib these days

Making new friends with Rachel who came all the
way from Queens to see him before heading
off to law school in Wisconsin.
We'll miss you Rachel. Good luck!

Gabe made new friends too with Paya...who drove me
crazy for a day/night and set a Guiness Book record for
peeing on the floor the most times in a 24 hour period

First Bottle Feed

Gabe looked a little confused as to the change of face
during his feeding, but decided he didn't care where dinner
came from as long as he got it

Success! Daddy did such a nice job of feeding...
now we just need to get him to agree to the 3 am feeding! :)

More Visitors from out West

Jake enjoyed Grandma Becky's stay ... maybe a little too much!

Stacey got Gabe to take a pacifer for the first time!
He looks a little uncertain about it and still refuses to take it from Mommy.

Gabe and Grandma getting ready to watch Junior in the Brickyard 400.

Aunt Stacey keeping Gabe happy.

Gabe was a big fan of Cousin Taylor.
Taylor was nice enough to leave us with two turtles:
Michelangelo and Donatello, which he picked up
in Chinatown with Mike.

Catastrophic Failure

If you're wondering why we haven't posted to the blog for so long, it is because we had some computer problems. First the blue screen of death popped up, then when we tried to reboot, the hard drive was making that horrible clicking noise that means you've just lost everything you hadn't backed up. In our case that meant virtually every picture from Gabe's first six weeks. We have the pictures we posted here of course, but the original high resolution files are gone. They are recoverable for an exorbitant amount of money, so I'll just hold onto that dead hard drive until I finally give in and pay it.

The good news is that there were some pictures we hadn't downloaded from the camera, and those will be posted in the next few days.
